Both sides of that, recorded against the deployed contract on Arc testnet. Nothing here is a mockup: the handle was registered and the tip was paid while the screen was being captured, and each clip carries its transaction.

Modular Wallets — a passkey as the signer

Live

A passkey on the device becomes a smart account. No extension, no seed phrase, no app. Arc ships no P-256 precompile at 0x100 or 0x0b, so verifying a WebAuthn signature on-chain ourselves would be priced out of reach — Circle's account does it instead.

0x3600…0000 is an ERC-20 view of the native balance — the same money at two scales, 18 decimals native and 6 through the ERC-20. Bridged USDC therefore lands as spendable tip and spendable gas at once, with no wrapper contract and nothing of ours in the middle.

Simple, predictable USDC payouts

No custom tokens or speculative reward schemes — ArcTip settles everything transparently in USDC.

99% lands directly

The creator's share never touches an ArcTip balance. The contract splits the payment and pays the creator's wallet in the same transaction.

1%, capped in the contract

MAX_FEE_BPS is a constant: the fee can never be raised above 5%, by us or by anyone else. Every tip also carries the highest fee its sender agreed to, so a raise mid-flight reverts instead of overcharging.

No token, and none planned

Nothing to buy, hold, or stake. Tips are USDC, the fee is USDC, payouts are USDC. There is no ArcTip token and the contract has no mechanism to mint one.

Where the 1% goes

It exists to cover the gas ArcTip sponsors on behalf of fans, not to make a margin — a sponsored tip costs about 0.0039 USDC, and 1% of a 1 USDC tip is 0.01. The treasury address is in the deployment record and readable on-chain.

Arc mainnet opens 16 September 2026. Sponsored gas and passkey wallets ship with it, so a fan needs neither a wallet extension nor a gas balance to tip.
